I have no idea why the Palin supporters justify criticism with the "they are afraid" approach. There is absolutely no basis. There are a number of hardcore Palin supporters that would love to see her run for President because pundits continue to reinforce who she is. On the other hand, throughout the Letterman scandal a few weeks back, she was in Texas, when she claims to have made the decision. Perhaps she was meeting some oil execs. So the energy lobbyist possibility definitely holds water.
