It's not "that" old, but still kind of old.
As we get older "not that old" stretches back farther and farther.

Rob is the biggest DMB fan on these boards. I'm sure a "+1" is imminent.

It's unbelievable that they didn't releast this one until the box set. But if you take it back to Robert Johnson it passes the age test. |

The Spinners are 2nd to none (imo) when it comes to Soul or Motown music (they're smooth).

his response to the Lennon song in post #21?
buki said: Yes that's what they say, but I'm not sure that really was indeed the case. Hmm, which Lennon song was it? I remember when a lot of that was going on. Anyway, since the video is no longer available, fwiw: "Let Me Roll It" is not related to "How Do You Sleep?" in any way, according to that guy (and my Lennon Expert friend of quite some time). I really like that song, heard it the first time playing over the PA system at Geauga Lake park, couldn't believe it was Paul & Wings when I found out. teke said: Jimi plays a right hand guitar opposite ways, left handed without changing the strings. Another thing that makes him amazing. Well, not really, he did restring 'em, easily seen in innumerable pics. There are credible stories that he could do it okay dinking around, from his early efforts at plinking about before someone showed him why he was having so much trouble sounding like the stuff he was trying to copy from guys he'd watched and radio hits he heard, but there are no known recordings of him playing an unrestrung "righty" guitar flipped over. Sorry, couldn't let that one pass.

Hmm, sorry buki, but I can't stand that remake nor have I ever understood what Eric thought he was trying to do there. Here's maybe my favorite live version of the original, visual sucks but as far as anyone knows it wasn't filmed. I'd rate the above Who song as arguably one of the 10 the greatest rock songs ever, it's right up there (imo), it has everything/it all. EX: Power,
creativity, energy, artistic expression, passion on & on & on.... to me it's the Vincent Van Gogh of all rock songs. (thumbs-up)
