I didn't watch Maude growing up. And I didn't watch the Golden Girls. So why does this news make me sad?

I used to watch Golden Girls with my grandma growing up. It's interesting that I found Bea amusing, even at that
age, and then gained a deeper appreciation for her later, especially when I watched some of her more cutting-edge stuff--a' la celebrity roasts, like Teke
mentioned.
I was surprised to find out she died as a result of cancer...she must have kept that pretty quiet, unless I missed some news here or there. |
