Was looking at the US Open scores on yahoo and the leader is -4 through 2!! They have his score recorded as a 1 on the par four first.
Edit, it must have been a mistake. cnnsi has the same player (Gonzalo-Hernandez) at even through 2.

They're putting up some good scores now in the afternoon. Weir is -4 thru 7 holes, that's insane, he's got another birdie now on 8.
I love this NY crowd, they're really loud. This is proly the second loudest to FBR at TPC Scottsdale, those are guys are just straight drunk. The par 3 16 on the stadium course is the coolest setup for stadium golf. |

Love the extra coverage on DirecTV caught a few hole of the feature group of Els, Phil, and Goosen. Boomer is doing the play by play and had some pretty good
stories during the dead time of him hacking it up on the course a few days ago. Then the camera cut to Andy North getting make up put on for ESPN's
coverage it was funny as hell.

Duval is being Duval again, I wish he could get some brass when he see's that he's in the lead. I keep pulling for him even though he's wearing the
same style of sunglasses that were popular in 1994.
My thinks the course is actually firming up now...we're starting to see some new mistakes for today. |

FBR at TPC Scottsdale I pass it daily and longingly look at its fairways, at least the one I can see. Haven't had a chance to play it yet. That is a party
fo' sure. Nightly Hineygate, bands and such. Lots of prowling Cougars I hear (sorry no pics) and for those who like them longer in the tooth Scottsdale has
now, ahem, the "Snow Leopards".
