I know it's the conservative way to parrot the talking points that spew forth daily from Hannity, Rush, Beck, and O'Rly, but liberals/progressives tend to think for themselves. That's why we're dangerous to the conservative dream of cookie-cutter conformation - we think OUTSIDE the box. It's why we'll eventually outlast them as well. The human mind is still evolving. Sooner or later, most people will be too intelligent to be conservative, and the Republican will go the way of the Piltdown Man.

I think both sides have talking points they beat to death, and I'm positive that both sides are more interested in bickering and "trying to win" than getting anything accomplished. You can't tell me that all those liberals/progressives were independently "thinking for themselves" when they were repeating teabag jokes all day on 4/15. Let's face it. Whether conservative or liberal, most people don't really have much original thought when it comes to politics or issues. They merely go around repeating the last thing they heard somebody else articulate for them that they happen to agree with.
