Lead | |

Farah Fawcett who has been recently very ill and now the sudden death of Michael Jackson, both very young - too young. Life is very short my fellow Buckheads,
live each day to the fullest.

Jacko seemed to hate the idea of growing old. Maybe it's just as well. And I'm not even going to get into the other obvious issues.

God for bid one day any of us could just stop posting on this board and it perhaps goes unoticed by other posters and perhaps that person has passed on without
any of us knowing so, that's sad to think that can happen. Maybe we need to develop some kind of way that we're able to all touch base with one
another at times just to make sure we're all doing alright and still kicking (just a thought) just in case we haven't herd from someone for a period of
time.
I see this horses ass Reverend Sharpton speaking now, he ruins everything of course.

Here's one more Jackson 5 song in memory of Michael Jackson before this thread fades away forever I guess...
I'll try to find some Farah Fawcett clips (what a real beaut in her day though). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IgHKvz4k9KI |

I admired Farrah & followed her career, sad that no one took her as a serious actress (like MM). And as for Michael, I absolutely loved ABC & One Bad Apple, the Jackson 5. I was so sad when others would tell me not to go to his History Tour (Hawaii in the 1990's) Concert. I just HAD to go see him, n lost my voice screaming my head off "I LOVE U MICHAEL!!!!!" I tried real hard to hold back the tears, but can no longer, cutting out early tonite....totally exhausted. My email is wildwahine1@gmail.com or u can catch me on facebook www.facebook.com/kahaladelrey or www.twitter.com/KahalaDelRey cya Buckheads I miss you too. I find it hilarious how all these highbrow Indian intellectuals always tell me how Americans are 'soooo stupid', yet now they're all blubbering
messes over Michael Jackson's death.
America rules. |

The famous are here to make everything alright.
From UK's Daily Mail: "Actors Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have both left messages on Twitter"
Well, Thank God for that. I'm sure we're all feeling adequately comforted about the loss now. I was in a bar last night and kept seeing relatively irrelevant people on TVs without sound commenting on MJ's death (Donna Summer maybe, but Sheryl Freaking Crow????) |

Am I the only one who, upon hearing the news, thought "What a relief for his children"?

Deepak Chopra wrote on the Huffington Post that his 13 year old son was a roadie on one of Michael Jackson's tours. Weird. I would never have allowed that.

Apparently people have been laying flowers on his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Unfortunately for them, they've got the wrong Michael Jackson. The King of
Pop's star is under a carpet for the Bruno premier and they've actually been honoring a very much alive talk radio host of the same name.

The Today Show is broadcasting from the right place and have shown the star. I would imagine Regis and Kelly and The View will do the same. I'll keep you
posted.

I never knew Sheryl Crow sang back up for Michael Jackson. You learn something new every day.

King of All Message Boards | ||
|
I have been watching the Michael Jackson tributes and am amazed at all of the people who say he rightfully was given the title "King of Pop". The
real story is that he held MTV hostage with videos from Bad and said they couldn't play them unless they called him the King of Pop before each video play.
That of course lead to Howard Stern, who was just starting to get into syndication, to jokingly proclaim himself to be the King of All Media (to a lesser
extent, this idea also gave birth to King of All Blacks, but piss on him). As he became more popular, he continued to push this and he is widely known as
"Howard Stern, The King of All Media".
It's amazing how you can call yourself something over and over and it sticks. 50 years from now, MJ will probably still be known as the King of Pop, and while he had tremendous success, he hasn't done anything noteworthy in 20 years. I need to learn to market my anonymous self better. But how? |
